HyTek: Importing Cross Country Entries
{TOC} Instructions for exporting cross country meet entries from Athletic.net and importing them into HyTek ===1.0 HyTek Setup=== ====1.1 Single Race Setup==== * In Hytek, Click {{Set-up -> Meet Setup}} and verify that the meet type is standard. * Setup an event for each race ====1.2 Multiple Race Division Setup==== * In Hytek, Click {{Set-up -> Meet Setup}} and verify that the meet type is standard. * In Hytek, Click {{Set-up -> Division / Region Names -> Divisions}} and add a division for each race. ** Examples: Varsity, Varsity Large School, Frosh/Soph Small School ** [image|Division Setup Example|{UP}HyTek%2fDivisions.gif] * Setup an event for each race. Be sure to select the race division. ===2.0 Website Setup=== * Sign into the website and go to your team cross country page. * Click on the meet and then click "{{Setup Race Divisions}}". * Enter the HyTek division in the ID column for each race. ** The website defaults High School Varsity Boys as division 1, JV Boys as division 3, Varsity Girls as division 2 and JV Girls as division 4. ===3.0 Download Entries=== * Sign into the website and go to your team cross country page. * Click on the meet and then click "{{Download Entries}}". * Select HyTek * Click "Create and Download Entry File" ===4.0 Import Entries into HyTek=== * In Hytek, Click {{File -> Import -> Semi-Colon Delimited Roster/Entries}} * Select the meet data file (MeetEntries or MeetEntries.txt) * Click Open * Click OK (Should not have errors...)
